Despite the fact Huronia Transition is funded at various levels by the Ministry of Community and Social Services, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Attorney General, every year our organization must fundraise to meet the ongoing needs of the women and children we serve. Transition Homes. Our organization supports women across the county who have experienced violence to have access to shelter, counselling, groups, empowerment, and social supports to help break free of the impacts of violence. With rates of violence against women so high, and our services continuously at capacity, your contribution serves as a beacon of hope and a powerful statement that change is possible.
